The new .mobi TLD offers us new ways to communicate and source information as we enter the 21st century. We’re looking forward to watching the ‘mobiverse’ evolve and grow over the next few years, as more people begin to browse the internet on their mobile phones, and developers respond to this demand.

We will be documenting, archiving, and helping to co-create this wonderful new land of Mobi. Let’s create a space of infinite possibilities where we can all meet as equals, and together follow our excitement wherever it leads.

A truly mobile internet has been a long time in the coming, but with dotMobi and other developments exploding onto the scene, we’ve all finally been set free.

Now we can unchain ourselves from our computers, leave our laptops at home, and get back into the real world, but still have access to the internet 24/7, courtesy of our pda’s and mobile phones, carried comfortably in our pockets and purses.

Finally, we have the best of both worlds, connectivity, AND mobility.

Sounds good to me!

Enjoy your visit.

*** important ***

Firstly, a big thank you to everyone who has written or contributed articles featured in this archive. We appreciate you, and your creativity. Secondly, we make no ownership claim to any of this material except for the occasional blog.

Currently this is an add-free, non-profit, ‘labour-of-love’ website, envisioned to be an online archive for press releases, articles, and various writings about the mobile internet, dotMobi, and other exciting news on new media and mobile technology. For the sake of accuracy, all articles are posted under the date of the original item, although they are generally added as they are found, or when time permits. This means you may find ‘new’ articles in older archives.

We definitely don’t wish to offend or upset any business or individual, so if you don’t want us to archive your material here for any reason at all, please e-mail us and we will immediately delete these items.

Cheers … Ed
